We arranged for the Cambridge University Botanic Garden to be specially opened for the UNDC visitors - it is normally closed in winter. They were able to visit the gardens, hothouses containing tropical plants and the Sainsbury laboratory. The Sainsbury Laboratory Cambridge University is located within Botanic Garden and aims to better understand the regulatory systems underlying plant growth and plant development.
